Denver Tango Adventure with Dominic Bridge & Ana Thomas

Join us this spring for a magical weekend of Argentine Tango exploration and social dancing in the heart of Colorado. Teaming up together for the first time in Denver, Dominic Bridge will be accompanied by Ana Thomas from Buenos Aires.

Ana was born and raised in Buenos Aires. She graduated from the prestigious San Martin Theater’s contemporary dance school and has been dancing tango since she was very young. In 2014 she moved to the United States and now lives in Las Vegas. In 2017, Ana became our ATUSA Tango de Pista National Champion with her brother, Michael Thomas. This year she and Dominic competed together at the SoCal Tango Championship, scoring as the top American couple in Tango de Pista, Vals, and Milonga.

The Denver Tango Adventure program is curated to deliver a wealth of useful knowledge, fun, and challenge for all levels of tango dancers. The workshops include topics on physical and somatic connection, musicality, creative navigation, and solo technique drills.

The walk: the quintessential defining movement of Tango. Everything about the dance is contained within, so let’s make it great! Practicing solo as well as in couples, we will drill posture, weight placement, grounding, different pisadas, and musicality.
