21st Century Tango
In 2021, Emmy Award-winning and Cannes Film Festival Award-winning filmmaker, Krysia Carter-Giez, began documenting the life of tango in order to build awareness and excitement around the incredibly challenging, rewarding, provocative form of dance. It portrays the uniqueness of intimacy and connection that's born through the music, dance and relationship to one another in partnership.

Artists Amongst Us
Our sister company, Artists Amongst Us, creates intimate salon gatherings in Denver where music, dance and art is shared. Each curated event ends with a tango performance and a tango milonga.
Meet Cynthia
Cynthia Giannini began her career as a classically-trained dancer at the age of seven. At eighteen, she was hand-picked by the late Robert Joffrey to dance for The Joffrey Ballet in New York City and was featured in the company for fifteen years.
In 2011, Cynthia rediscovered her passion for dance through Argentine Tango. Eager to choreograph and bring tango and storytelling to the stage, she jumped in and created Intimo Tango, a performing arts organization located in the Rino Arts district of Denver, Colorado.
Cynthia choreographs her own duets in tango for her shows. In 2017, she and her partner won the official USA Stage Tango Championship and represented the United States in Buenos Aires the same year in the Mundial de Tango (Tango World Cup) in the semifinals.
In 2024, Cynthia established nonprofit organization, Artists Amongst Us. Contemporaneously, she expanded to The Sanctuary in the Denver Speer/Baker neighborhood where she co-founded the Intimo Tango International School with Dominic Bridge.
